We are proud to announce that the Nieuwe rechtspositie Rijksambtenaren (New Legal Status for Public Servants) curriculum for HR advisors has been awarded to Smart Learning Company and Boontje Advocaten by the Ministry of the Interior on behalf of the Dutch government.
The legal status of public servants will be brought in line, insofar as possible, with that of employees in trade and industry, most likely as from 1 January 2020. From then onwards, civil employment law will apply to a large section of public servants. Smart Learning Company offers training in the field of that major change in the form of blended learning, meaning that the subject matter will be offered in various manners (both online and offline) to some 2000 participating HR advisors. A team of lawyers of Boontje Advocaten will host four Masterclasses for all the participants as part of this curriculum.
Smart Learning Company stands for “smarter learning, long-term performance”. Smart and efficient learning is achieved by using interactive teaching methods and accessible teaching technology, and by accommodating the different generations and target groups. With its #smartlearning approach, Smart Learning Company will ensure that the Nieuwe rechtspositie Rijksambtenaren curriculum is an inspiring learning pathway for all HR advisors.
Boontje Advocaten applies the “employment law plus” formula, which involves, among other things, focused specialisation within the broad spectrum of employment law and mediation. Professor C.J. (Cees) Loonstra and Dr. P. Kruit are affiliated with Boontje Advocaten for the scientific aspects. Offering the Nieuwe Rechtspositie Rijksambtenaren curriculum to some 2000 HR advisors of the Dutch government is an excellent addition to our current practice.
We will be pooling our resources on this project. By doing what we excel in and by working together to combine the best of both worlds, we are able to make this project a success. We are pleased to have been offered this opportunity and will keep you informed of the developments.
