Carola Meyer-de Swaan
“I like to help my clients solve complex employment law problems in a constructive manner. Employment law plays an important role in society: it impacts the success of organisations and the welfare of employees. Offering clients full-service solutions allows them to focus on development and growth. I regard making a contribution to that aim as my main challenge. I have broad experience in employment law. These past twenty years, I have specialised in the full spectrum of employment law, in particular in co-determination law, reorganisations and education law. I therefore work for a wide range of clients: from works councils and managing directors of multinationals, to small and medium-sized enterprises, educational organisations and expats. I am therefore familiar with all the forces in the field, which allows me to serve my clients even better.”
Carola truly wants to get to know her clients, and aims for personal, long-term relationships, mutual trust and a pragmatic approach. She worked at Boontje Advocaten in the past, briefly worked as Legal Counsel at Unilever, but re-joined our firm quite some time ago. Carola is known as a powerful negotiator. She combines her broad experience with in-depth specialist knowledge, which she is pleased to share with her clients and colleagues. Carola is ambitious and committed. She regards clients who gratefully leave their problems behind them and focus on the future as the best reward in her work.
